Inspired by David’s sense of adventure, this vibrant, contemporary scent captures the spirit
of the open road. Live in the moment; be who you want to be.
Taking inspiration from David’s distinctive style and spirit, The Essence is presented in a
gently curved rectangular glass bottle embossed with a striking weave pattern. This is
topped with a sleek silver cap decorated with a diagonal check design,
evoking a strong masculine feel.
For a stylish, edgy twist, the fluid inside is steel blue. Completing the
contemporary look, the front of the bottle is embossed with the new David Beckham logo: his
name written in a bold typeface, with a circle shape stamped out of the final letters.
Exuding masculine elegance, the gunmetal grey fragrance box features contrasting white
borders and the David Beckham logo metal hot-stamped on the front and top. Echoing the
juice, the words ‘The Essence’ are coloured blue. Finally, for a wonderfully tactile finish, the
sides of the pack have an engraved ‘graphillage’ texture that demands to be touched.

What does the essence of David Beckham actually smell like?
The fragrance has an initial citrusy twinge of Grapefruit which is blended with Violet leaves and Lavender to give a real dose of freshness. It has a fruity heart of Pineapple and Apple which are balanced out with a blend of Cardamon to give it a real urbane spin (which I love about this scent). At the base is Patchouli Heart, which adds the
distinctive sensuality Beckham is iconic for.
