Cebu's new soiree hotspot has just risen.

The high & sweet life.

The cocktails were exceptional, much more their own kick to the lechon (first time I ate without hanging rice, which I found so guiltlessly doing after all), the unique savor to that slightly smoked sausage, and the sumptuous GENUINELY DIMSUM Siao Mai: all were keeping my fingers busy whilst my eardrums were beating to wicked beats from the DJs.

The remixed, techno-fied version (complete with interpolations, repititive refrains & word cues all signatures of a club tune) of Janina San Miguel's WICKEDLY, BLUNTLY SHAMELESS Bb. Pilipinas answer was thee most remarkable!

The exclusive by-invite soft launch was spiced up by

VERY MARY by Mary Ty's & Jean Paul Cabigon's collections.

MARY TY went in CIRCLES & STRIPS as she carried these on from the necklines to the arms, being cut-out sleeves and bodice accents. Neutrals in black & white balanced off the signature tight-fit sheath silhouettes.

JP Cabigon's undoubtedly 80s-infused creations counted soft leather and black as the key points. Key streetwear pieces were revived in these two elements, giving off a strong femme fatale aura. But the echt 80s vibe was missing thru a whole multitude of shapes (uneven hemile, harem, corseted, nautical bolts, etc.) which confused the nonchalant IDC decade to a bit contemporary conscious dressing.

I especially loved this bandage back detail (Givenchy SS09 ringing?)
