Men's Spring-Summer 2012: FOULARD

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

From the moment Dominico and Stefano sent forth their regal FOULARD-filled collection (foulard: printed silk), I immediately knew THIS upbeat incarnation of SILK PRINTS was going to be major this year.

Every separable garment imaginable was in silk foulard combined with denim and cotton to pay homage to their youth-street DNA - almost every PRINT and FLOURISH pattern there is was made into relaxed shorts, pants, shirts, bombers and loose jackets.

Paul Smith and Patrik Ervell had their way in smudged watercolor-wash prints in a quasi-tropical-space-age vein. Etro also presented various silk-scarf prints in bombers and pants for the elder and more austere client.

As long as it's SILKY and RELAXED, it's good to go!
Along with the season's BAROQUE-PRINT and GREEK-TILE trend, this is your route to bringing out the BEST of summer wear, in the streets, every day.

  1. I always like wearing silk clothes, maybe I try to wear their clothes too.
