Yves Camingue Resort 2014:: JEROUXALEM

"Yves Camingue's latest collection, craftily called "Jerouxalem" redefines how to look chic underthe summer sun. A daring reinvention of traditional garments used in the ancient city, the collection features an ecclectic fusion of classic cuts and contemporay hues.

Modesty mixed with personality is the name of the game. The designs show  hints of age-old styles such as the straying silhouete of an abaya (a robe-like dress), the hem of a thawb an (ankle-length garment, usually with long sleeves) and the layering of a bisht.(men's cloak)

"The 90s heyday of Helmut Lang also inspired the simplicity of the shapes evident in the spaghetti straps and bias-cut separates..."
