Such quote literally caught my eye while passing by the Islands Souvernirs boutique (did I mention the new modernized, more youth-friendly set-up finally invited me?). It's just one of the many AFFORDABLE designs; fresh, totally current & 360-degrees not your typical cotton memorabilia or souvenir shirt. I have to say Islands Souvenirs have stepped up the game with this range of LOYALTY items. What day could be more appropraite to flaunt it than our INDEPENDENCE DAY here in the Pihilppines! The day was going to be a railrooooad, hence I chose to wear JUST a simple very comfortable tee. Without a cardigan or jacket.

It was my parents' 27th wedding anniversary. All-Filipino lunch at my faved restaurant, CHIKA-AN. My friend's production, the ROCK YOUR FREEDOM concert featuring Urbandub. The INDEPENDANCE Party in VUDU.

Drums on stage were beaten, so were my eardrums.

It was one rare side seat moment to witness rockers' REAAALY headbanging and be a slave to their riffs. With infusions of rap, metal and a bit of pop/hip-hop undertones, it was not the monotonic rock concert that I thought I'd yawn until the end. Heads up to Chaz Cortes's NOT YOURS Productions for successful musical melting pot and the..ahem, experience.
