2009 Women's Trend: SUGAR METALLICS

Less disco. More sangfroid.

Pick your own concoction of metallics this season as
MINIDRESSES get "sweeter" with sugar-scale mettalics, sequins & adornments!

Sequins as small (or even more minute than) as sugar sparkled and festooned beautifully easy sheath & sleeved dresses - from bodyhuggers to skimpy numbers.

***
Nicholas Ghesquiere at BALENCIAGA re-transported to cosmic enigma with his sequined assymetrical hemlines and icicle tassles. Christopher Decarnin at BALMAIN did his 80s Dynasty flavor to all sheath dresses await banging doors and turning heads.

Donnatella VERSACE laminated her uber-sequined mini-frocks to flawless sophistication.
Zac Posen & Philip Lim offered full-on sequined lame dresses that were draped divinely for the night. Alexander MCQUEEN went the whole nine yards in bejewelling his crinolined dresses.

Remember though, these are not the SPANGLED type of sequin adornment (the ones that dangle & swish-swosh) - they're kept in place & are "behaved", so to speak.
Accessories: no need to toil.
