a "dukunu" is a sweet corn-meal dumpling boiled in wrapped leaves. It's similar to our provinces' corn rice, grainier than ordinary rice.
I bought this printed cotton months ago (was it a Tahitian, Hawaiian, Polynesian print?? IHNI but it was more Jamaican mohn!), thus I had sewn the shorts myself last month in a style that's very comfortable, adjustable to a 32 waistline; giving birth to it in a appropriate time in these scorching days!
