in English, it means "field laborers".
One SURE-FIRE way to channel that was this emerald-orange combi
of MADRA shirt that I haven't worn for months.

SINCE

....I saw GRID and MICRO patterns flush down the runways, especially that of Dries Van Noten's, Moschino's & Thom Browne's, I declared PLAID to be gone,

but then
* I rethought of PLAID's unrelenting style automatism -
versatile looks - not to mention today's fitted yet airy fit,
and humid-friendly materials -
can really be stemmed from just ONE UNIQUE pattern and color combination.
DO YOU AGREE?

I ate my words.
And re-vomitted my adoration for pattern
Harvest time yet?

  1. HAHA! You said 're-vomitted.' :) Personally I absolutely love plaid. I buy men's plaid shirts all the time. The Dries Van Noten plaid from head to toe is a little too much but love the other runway looks. And you look great as usual! BTW, you can totally post my pic for your next trend post. :)

    xo, Becs

  3. Trovata! It doesn't hurt that the model is painfully handsome.
