If it's a black-tie event, I wear smart shorts instead of slacks. If it's a luau, I devoid from hibiscus prints. If it's rave, I desaturate the neon and choose metalics (though I'd still throw some neons in).
If it's Halloween, I ALWAYS, first of all, decide to be "female" since it's a rare chance to cross-dress, and second - opt for glammed-up macabre (say, a dead lovechild of Shakespeare & Josephine Bracken or a bruised up, lyposucked Cruella DeVille).
Turning the tables around for party outifts, especially for its motiffs, have been an interesting move for me. It always feels exciting to be in unpredicted garb!
HAVAIANAS PHILIPPINES threw an AH-MAY-ZING Urban-themed beach party at Formo at the last leg of summer. The motiff? All-white urban beach.
I already knew I'd wear my V-neck basic and my shorts. Blazer? Too Dan Humphrey on that GG episode. An un-buttoned shirt dress? Too Brad Pitt or Victoria Beckham. Post-sex.
My verdict: an oyster grey overlap-draped long-sleeved blouse from my 2008 pre-Holiday collection. First time I wore it actually ON ME. Seasonless. Of course, my loved fedora to top all.

Talk about REALLY overflowing booze & munches! Mango Mojito count: 7? And to this day, FORMO's sweet-salty Potato Chips & the Veggie rolls still linger upon my palates.

Pricking the VUDU: The After-Party
It always is an ace feeling to end the night where your heart (and your feet, in my case) feels most pumped up, literally!
