I really concluded it was FATE that brought me to hear the good news from the Man upstairs. Whilst waiting, waiting, waiting for Eden (a record of 2hours) and Danielle from the Y101 booth, I just sat down, blank-staringly at the last-est pew at the Sto. Niño church waiting for some speedy Gonzales action from E.
Campy Koreans, in all their renowned shuffled layering, took shots of the ceiling murals, so did some macho Americans. Blue-collar workers just got off from work, assorted families, Titas in Fit-Flops, lovers, a few handsome teeners:: All these purportfully dropped by to pay homage, except me.
6PM struck and there it happened: my first time to hear Mass in MONTHS (since I'm more intrapersonally spiritual). Thankfully, I wasn't sleepy anymore - I was fully responsive, reactive, attentive, especially, to the gospel that encircled on INNER PEACE. Paraphrasing, "You cannot have inner peace if you don't have peace with the people you know". Moreso, "you can't find inner peace if you always think of material things."
Was I dumbfounded AND inspired at the same time, or what??
Thank you to Eden, Danielle & Chaz for letting me wait - made me hear such Good News.
Here's to exhaling and projecting "inner peace".
