Excerpt from my published review:

“Literally, Aspiras sharpened his wares – sharp hemlines, folding taffeta to create dimension, and thus, effecting to more gleam, excess origami folds and fan pleating extending towards the neckline, bust points and hips. Strips of straight lines accentuated a waist cincher and the pencil skirts.

If Aspiras would revamp women now in ways Roxette’s Marie Fredriksson, Debbie Harry and pop-disco Kylie Minogue only knew back in the 80s, such this action of resurging the Electra 80s would aggrandize his stature.

Jolts of color may not be in gush now, but with Aspiras’s offering, women, from the rowdy young set to company honchos, would, or shall I say, SHOULD slip onto these cutting-edge “experiments”.”

  1. Wow you're one stylish guy... I love the jacket you're wearing! And thanks for sharing shots from the Aspiras collection... it's so interesting to see fashion from different countries. I love that you mentioned Roxette and Marie Frederiksson... they might be considered cheesy but I used to be a huge Roxette fan when I was a teenager. She did have some outrageous outfits (remember that bodysuit with removable arms?). I love the vibrant colors in this collection though!
